COMPESI, Nell (nee Fagone), age 93, a lifelong resident of Garfield, died on March 20, 2014. She owned and operated Nell’s Beauty Salon, Garfield for 56 years retiring at the age of 81, and she was a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church, Garfield. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph in 2001, and her brothers, Leonard and Jasper Fagone. She is survived by her son Jamie Compesi and his wife Ellen, and two grandchildren, AnnMarie Compesi and Jamie Compesi and his wife Anna. Visiting Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral is Saturday, March 22, 2014, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8 am followed by a 9 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Entombment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. The Compesi family is in the care of the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077).
