Obituary for Deloss Dixon

Deloss L. Dixon, 73, died Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at his home in Rochelle Park, NJ. He was born in Bridgeport, CT, on July 24, 1940, the son of the late Deloss and Virginia (Lloyd) Dixon. Dixon was a Vietnam veteran. He earned his BA from the Eastern Connecticut State University. Dixon was employed by ESCU for ten years as Sports Information Director. He also worked as a professional broadcaster for various Connecticut radio stations and provided voice-overs for documentaries. He was certified by the American Board of Hypnotherapy, and was director of his own center for clinical hypnosis. His favorite pastime was performing magic tricks. Dixon was a member of the Freemasons. He was predeceased by his beautiful daughter, Jenny, in 1983, who was a lovable, funny, impish sweetheart.
