CANNIZZARO, Joseph Sr., age 88, of Garfield, died on July 12, 2014. Born in NY, NY, he lived in Garfield most of his life. He was a foreman working over 40 years with Joseph Muscarelle Inc., Hackensack, and he was a member of the Laborers’ International Union of North America - Local 325, Jersey City. He is predeceased by his wife Anna in 2003, two brothers, Tony and Rosario, and a sister Rosa Musso. He is survived by two sons, Joseph Jr. and wife Jennifer, and Anthony and wife Jeanette, two grandchildren, Deanna and Danielle, three brothers, Jack, Victor, and Alfredo, and two sisters, Lena Stravalacci and Yolanda Velardi. Visiting Tuesday 7 to 9 pm. The funeral is Wednesday, July 16, 2014, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am chapel service. Entombment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
