CAPUANO, Piera (nee Morreale), age 85, of Lodi, died on November 21, 2014. Born and raised in Termini Imeresi, Italy, she moved to the United States living in Garfield before settling in Lodi 53 years ago. She was a seamstress for over 30 years retiring in 1991, a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church, and a member of the Lodi AARP and Garfield YMCA. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph in 2009, a brother Anthony Morreale, and a sister Assunta Petrillo. She is survived by three daughters, Francesca Leary and husband William, Connie Romano and husband Vincent, Marilyn Dal Cortivo and husband Steven, and six grandchildren, Vincent, Joseph, Jacquelyn, Juliana, Daniel, and Jason. Dear sister of Maria Gregorat, Franca Petrillo, and Pippo Morreale. Visiting Sunday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Monday, November 24, 2014, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8 am followed by a 9 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Entombment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi.
