CIVITARESE, Loretta (nee Iaciofano), age 95, a lifelong resident of Lodi, died on November 23, 2014. She was a home economics teacher for 36 years at Garfield High School, Garfield retiring in 1981, a parishioner of St. Joseph’s RC Church, Lodi where she was a former CCD teacher, and a member of the NJEA. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Joseph A. Civitarese, Sr., a son, Joseph A. Civitarese, Jr. and wife Carolyn, and three grandchildren, Joseph Carl Civitarese, Steven Paul Civitarese, and James Briggs and wife Amanda. She is predeceased by her parents Carlo and Theresa Iaciofano, two sisters, Phyllis Pinto and Mary Sepede, and a brother, Dominic Iaciofano. Visiting Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral is Wednesday, November 26, 2014, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10am followed by a 11 am mass at St. Joseph’s RC Church, Lodi. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. The Civitarese family is in the care of the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077). Condolences/Directions visit aloiafuneral.com
