Condolence: Even though we only spoke on the 955 repeater a couple of times, I will never forget my pleasant conversations with Josephine. Josephine had a love for nostalgic radio shows, which I was also be fond of. In fact, one of the main the reasons I would listen to the CBS net, was to hear Josephine talk about the old radio programs, and her memories about them, never failed her. She was also, in my opinion, the "den mother" of the CBS net. Rest in peace, Josephine (WA2ZNT). We will miss you! From Carlos (KD2DKO).

Condolence: I first started talking to Josephine about 4 years ago on the CBS Net, and I always told her that she had such a young voice and a great memory. never met her in person but with her gentle voice and with the rest of the group, it always seemed like we were all sitting in a living room around the fire place just chatting. She will be missed so much and I was glad for the chance to speak with her and to have last words with her before she became ill. Jo, You will be missed. KC2ZUM

Condolence: Josephine was a wonderful person, she was a regular participant on our CBS Retirees Ham Radio Net and we all felt that she added vitality and interesting facts from her past, educating the rest of us. She had a wonderful memory of old time radio programs and would ask me to look up info in my Broadcast Archives Library. We shall miss Josephine and we are most sorry that she has passed on. May she rest in peace and may perpetual light shine upon her.

Condolence: I don't know what happened to my first post but here we go again. Josephine, what a woman! To talk to her on Ham radio was to love her. She was the sweetest, most caring individual on the band! She would always ask me about how I was feeling and how my many doctor visits went without commenting on her own problems. She would remember things about my trips to my grandkids in Virginia and ask about them. When "Jo" came on to talk to a couple of us, there was always a line-up to talk to her. She never shut anyone down and always completed the call. What a lady! I wish I would have met her in person. Attending the wake with Rocky was a wonderful experience, meeting her vast family including grand kids. Wonderful people! Rest in Peace, Jo. "73's" always!
