CHIOCCHI, Angelo, age 87, of Lodi, died on January 30, 2015. Born and raised in Paterson for 35 years, he moved to Lodi 52 years ago. He was a shipper for over 30 years with Congress Textile in Hawthorne, NJ retiring in 1993, he was a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church, Garfield, and a member of the Dyers Local 1733 in Paterson. He is predeceased by his brothers, Hirsh and Joe Chiocchi, and a sister Madeline Stura. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mamie (nee Luciano), a son, Michael and his wife Maria, two grandchildren, Kristen and Matthew, three sisters, Sue Trapanese, Jean Chiocchi, and Margie Incorvia, and his canine companion Max. Visiting Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral is Tuesday, February 3, 2015, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Entombment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. The Chiocchi family is in the care of the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077). Condolences/Directions visit aloiafuneral.com
