GETCHIUS, Virginia M. (nee McCullum), age 91, of Garfield, died on March 3, 2015. Born in Louisville, KY, she lived there for 6 years moving to Garfield 85 years ago. She was the court clerk over 20 years for the City of Garfield retiring in 2003, and a parishioner of Most Holy Name Church, Garfield. She is predeceased by her husband John V. Getchius in 1992, a brother Edward McCullum, and her parents William and Lillian McCullum. She is survived by a son, John Getchius, two brothers, William McCullum and wife Doris, and Thomas McCullum and wife Andrea, and two grandchildren, John and Anne-Laurel. Visiting Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral is Saturday, March 7, 2015, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8 am followed by a 9 am mass at Most Holy Name Church, Garfield. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. The Getchius family is in the care of the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077). Condolences/Directions visit aloiafuneral.com
