JASKULSKI, Marcin “Majer", age 33, passed away April 28, 2015, with his family and close friends by his side in Rutherford, NJ. A memorial service will be held from 9:30 am to 11:30 am on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield. Family and friends are invited to pay him respects and say their final "Goodbyes" before his remains will be laid in Poland for his final rest.
Marcin was born August 16th 1981 in Wloclawek, Poland to Stanislaw and Hanna Jaskulski.
Majer spent his childhood and teenage years in Wola Sosnowa, Poland. He graduated from Technical School in Brzesc Kujawski in 2002. Soon after, he joined the army in Torun, Poland where he served from 2002-2004. He also attended Torun University in Poland in 2003. In 2004, Marcin came to the United States where he resided until recent. He was employed as an electrician for one of the local electric companies. His skills and passion towards his work were appreciated both by his employer and co-workers.
Majer was a vivid fan of NY teams : Knicks, Giants and Rangers. His favorite music bands were: U2, Pearl Jam, AC/DC, Tool and The Rolling Stones. An excellent bowler and Foosball player, as well as a great companion and a person with huge sense of humor, Marcin was well liked by his friends and co-workers.
One of the greatest challenges of Marcin's life was his battle with cancer. His strong will and positive spirit in fighting the disease were admired by everyone who knew him. Even though, Marcin's illness became his ultimate demise , in the memory of his family and friends he will always be THE CHAMPION.
Marcin is survived by his mother, Hanna, brothers: Waldemar and Wojciech and his girlfriend, Magdalena Grzybowska.
