LIBRERA, Filomena (nee Mazzuchelli), age 82, of Garfield, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2015. Born and raised in the Bronx for 23 years, she moved to Garfield 59 years ago. Known as Fran, she was a homemaker, a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church, and a member of the Lodi AARP. She is predeceased by her cherished husband Frank in 2011. She is survived by two much-loved sons, David Thomas Librera, and Frank James Librera and wife Jacqueline, a treasured granddaughter, Kiera Librera, a devoted sister, Anna Fusco, and a brother Silvio Mazzuchelli. Her love extended to many wonderful sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends, both past and present, who gave her many years of great joy. Visiting Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral is Thursday, May 7, 2015, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9 am followed by a 10 am mass at Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church, Garfield. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The Librera family is in the care of the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077).
