Mildred Legutko (Gasior)
LEGUTKO, Mildred (nee Gasior), age 90, a lifelong resident of Garfield, passed away in Phoenix, AZ on May 10, 2015 where she resided the past 15 years. She started her career with Bell Telephone, Passaic, NJ during WWII and later with the Yoo-Hoo Beverage Company, Lodi, NJ. She then worked with her father at Gasior's Insurance Agency which later became Wittig-Legutko Insurance Agency, Garfield, NJ and was the co-owner with her husband Michael. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Garfield. She is survived by her husband Michael of 64 yrs, children Michael Legutko, Jr. and wife Debbie, Kathleen Brand and husband John, Jeffrey Legutko and Laure Redling and husband Edward, and a brother, Theodore “Teddy” Gasior and wife Jacqueline. Dear grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, and loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister Mary Gasior, and her parents Theodore and Anna Gasior. Visitation will be held at the Aloia Funeral Home, Thursday May 21, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral held Friday May 22 at Aloia Funeral Home at 9 am followed by a 10 am Mass at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Garfield. Interment will be at St. Peter's Greek Catholic Cemetery, Garfield. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org. The Legutko family is in the care of Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077).
