Jessica Kozlik (Wojtczak)
KOZLIK, Jessica (nee Wojtczak), age 88, of Garfield, went to be with her Lord peacefully at home on July 18, 2015.

Beloved wife of the late Bruno Kozlik in 1977. Cherished mother of Christine Yacuk and husband Steve, and Ella Labocki and husband William.

Devoted grandmother of Richard Yacuk and wife Kelly, Deborah Yacuk Millard, Melissa Clarke and husband Brian, Thomas Labocki and wife Maggie, Jamie Labocki, and Christina Labocki Kowalew and husband Gustavo.

Loving great-grandmother of Katarina, Anneliese, Connor, Brayden, Jason, Gabriella, and Leah.

Born in Wiesiolow, Poland in 1926, at the age of 15, Jessica was taken to Germany to work on a farm until the end of WWII. She was a displaced person in a German camp. During her time at this camp, she received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. There she married Bruno Kozlik.

They emigrated to the United States via New Orleans in 1951, and lived in California eight months working on an almond farm to pay off their sponsors. They finally settled in Garfield, NJ where she lived for the rest of her life.

She was a homemaker, and a faithful member of the Full Gospel Church, Garfield. Her legacy was to have all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren serve the Lord and attend church regularly.

Jessica, or Babcia as she was lovingly called by all, will be best remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. Her hobbies were shopping, gardening, and cooking...and her good cooking will be missed by all.
