Obituary for Frank Saimson

SAIMSON, Frank, age 82, of Garfield, died on November 6, 2015. Born and raised in Passaic for 35 years, he settled in Garfield 47 years ago. He was the head of the maintenance department at Automatic Data Processing in Roseland for 32 years before retiring in 2000, and he was a member of the AARP. Frank was a world traveler, and true lover and friend to animals and pets of all types. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Doris (nee Kern), dear son Eric H. and fiance Lori A. Lyons, and three cherished grandchildren, Tiffany, Elizabeth, and Erica. He is predeceased by his father Harry, and his brother Robert. Visiting Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral is Tuesday, November 10, 2015, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9 am followed by a 10 am chapel service. Interment Cresthaven Cemetery, Clifton. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Northshore Animal League. The Saimson family is in the care of the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077).
