CANGELOSI, Joseph M., age 79, of Lodi, died on April 5, 2016. Born and raised in NY, NY he lived in Garfield before settling in Lodi 50 years ago. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a parishioner of Most Holy Name Church in Garfield, and a member of the Hasbrouck Heights Elks Lodge 1962. He was the supervisor of the Hackensack U.S. Post Office working for 30 years retiring in 1987. He is predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Patricia (nee Miller) in 2009, his son, Joseph Michael Cangelosi in 1988, and his brothers, Anthony and Michael Cangelosi. Beloved father of Nancy Cangelosi, Patricia Sylvia and her husband Kenneth, and Corene Rainey and her husband Kenneth, loving grandfather of Crystal, Dene, Joseph, Amanda, Nicholas, and Jake, cherished great-grandfather of Joseph, Brandon and Robbie, loving companion of Mary Tarigo, and dear sister of Millie Conigliaro. Visiting Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral is Friday, April 8, 2016, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am chapel service.
