FUSCO, Salvatore “Tardo”, age 88, of Toms River and North Fort Myers, FL, died on April 18,2016. Born and raised in Lodi for 69 years, he was a dual resident of Toms River and North Fort Myers, Florida for the past 19 years. He was a butcher working for 20 years at Inserra ShopRite in Hasbrouck Heights retiring in 1989, and he was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s RC Church, Lodi. Tardo is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Marian (nee Giordano), a son John Fusco and wife Janice, and a daughter, Felicia McQueeney and husband Robert. He was a devoted grandpa to his three grandchildren, Jayme and fiancé Mike Bulger, Kellie and Shannon, a cherished great-grandfather to Brodey Lynn, Raif, Brent, Deklin, Tiernan and Donaghan, a beloved brother to Dorothy Gervino, and brother-in-law of Faye Giordano, and a dear uncle to his nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother Michael Fusco, and two sisters, Rafaela “Tootsie” Della Pena and Mildred Bence. Visiting Thursday 11 am to 12:30 pm followed by a 1 pm Memorial mass at St. Joseph’s RC Church, Lodi.
