GARIPPA, Matthew E., age 81, of Milford, NJ, died on June 8, 2016. Born and raised in Garfield for 22 years, he lived in Italy for 7 years and Mountainside for 32 years before settling in Milford for 20 years ago. He was a pastor and his most recent pastorate was at the Valley Bible Fellowship in Milford, NJ. He is predeceased by his siblings, Mary, Elizabeth, Mathilda, Hannah, Ruth, and David. Loving husband of Terri (nee Ruberti) and her sons Samuel, Peter and Michael, dear father of Matthew C. Garippa and Jennifer Garippa, cherished grandfather of Matthew A. and Christian L., and dear brother of Robert Garippa, Rachel Garippa, Dorothy Garippa, Lydia Mastroberti, Esther DeFranco, and Dolores Wood. Visiting Monday 6 to 9 pm. The funeral service is Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at the Hawthorne Gospel Church, Hawthorne at 10 am. Interment Crest Haven Cemetery, Clifton.
