PATERNOSTRO, Frank, age 95, of Lodi, died on September 12, 2016. Born and raised in Alessandria della Rocca, Sicily-Italy for 27 years, he emigrated to New York for 5 years and Garfield for 7 years settling in Lodi 56 years ago. He was an asphalt laborer for 40 years retiring in 1987, a member of the Laborers’ International Union of North America- Local 1018, Flushing, NY, a member of the St. Ciro Society, Garfield, and a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church, Garfield. He is predeceased by his wife whom he married in 1947, Maria Anna (nee Amorelli) in 2009. Loving father of Maria Di Dino and husband Joseph, loving grandfather of Joseph Di Dino, and cherished great-grandfather of Roxanne Di Dino. Visiting Thursday 3 to 7 p.m. The funeral is Friday, September 16, 2016, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Entombment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting memorial donations.
