Obituary for
Rose Marie Mirandi (Petruzzi)
MIRANDI, Rose Marie (nee Petrucci), age 90, of Garfield, died on October 10, 2016. Born in Wayne, she lived in Totowa for 31 years moving to Garfield 59 years ago. She was a former model with Barbizon in Paterson, and while she was a homemaker, she worked briefly as a coordinator at Century 21 Construction in Clifton, NJ. She was a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church where she was a member of the Rosary Society, T.A.M.S., and Altar Guild, a former choir member, the Restoration Committee Chair, and she was an active church volunteer. In addition, she was a member of the AARP. Loving wife of 59 years to Anthony J., devoted mother of Bernard (Debra) Mirandi and Jacqualine Ann Mirandi, cherished grandmother of Anthony Swyryt, Matthew (Alison) Mirandi, and Daniel Mirandi, and dear sister of Madeline Lami and Eleanor Aulino. She is predeceased by her siblings, Lucy Sapione, Mary, Rudy, and Victor “Sonny” Petrucci. Visiting Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral is Friday, October 14, 2016, arriving 8:30 am at the Aloia Funeral Home followed by a 9:30 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield.
