KEARNEY, James D., age 53, of Garfield, died on October 9, 2016. He was a sheet metal worker for 16 years with the Sheet Metal Workers International Union - Local 28, NY, NY. Loving husband of 22 years to Carol (nee Kosco), beloved father of Shannon Kearney, dear son of Richard and Lucille Kearney and Virginia Carey, dear brother of John Kearney, and Traci Heinz and husband Ron, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother, Richard Kearney. Memorial Visitation will be Sunday 2 to 5 pm with a 4:30 pm chapel service. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting memorial gifts.
