BORDONARO, Francesca “Frances” (nee Pilato), age 82, of Garfield, died on November 18, 2016. Born in Partinico, Italy, she lived there for 20 years and Argentina for 5 years before settling in Garfield 57 years ago. She was a machine operator for over 30 years with Marcal Paper Company, Elmwood Park retiring in 1997, and a member of the AFL-CIO Union. She was a parishioner and member of the Sacred Heart Society at Mt. Virgin Church in Garfield, and a member of the Immaculate Conception Prayer Group at St. Joseph’s Church in Lodi. Frances is predeceased by her husband Frank in 2013. Loving mother of Joseph Bordonaro and wife Donna, and Anthony Vito Bordonaro, cherished grandmother of Frank Michael and wife Michelle, Nikki Marie, Joseph, Toni Marie, and Atturo, great-grandmother of Abigal Grace and Emma, and dear sister of Salvatore, Giacchina, Girolama, and Eleanora Pilato. Visiting Monday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Tuesday, November 22, 2016, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8:30 am followed by a 9:30 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. The Bordonaro family is in the care of the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077). Condolences/Directions visit aloiafuneral.com
