Obituary for
Richard Louis Curti, Sr.
CURTI, Richard Louis, Sr., age 78, of Elmwood Park, died on February 11, 2017. Born in Passaic, he lived in Garfield and Saddle Brook settling in Elmwood Park 18 years ago. He was a machinist for Curtiss Wright in Fairfield and Bendix Corporation in Teterboro before retiring, and he was an avid Al Jolson Fan and impersonator who had appeared on the Steve Ames show and performed in NY, NJ, and CT nursing homes entertaining the residents. He is survived by his daughter, Christine Szot and husband Mark, his son, Richard Louis Curti, Jr. and wife Annie, a sister, Linda Grayzel and husband Ken, and two grandchildren, Charles and Adam Szot. Visiting Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm with an 8:30 pm chapel service. Private Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
