Obituary for Michael Phillips
PHILLIPS, Michael, age 68, of Clifton, died on March 13, 2017. Born and raised in Paterson, he lived there for many years before moving to Garfield and finally settling in Clifton last year. He was a self-employed handyman before retiring. Loving husband of 35 years to Jeanett Lorraine (nee Card), beloved father of Michael Phillips, Jr. and wife Stacey and Gilbert Michael Phillips, dear step-father of JayJay Walker and Jessica Walker, and cherished grandfather of 20 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Robert, Gary, Glen, Rod, Patrick, Guy, Florence, Dorothy, Diane, and Laura Phillips, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his daughter, Christina Ann Phillips, his brother, Ronnie Phillips, and his step-son, Jeffrey Walker. Visiting Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm with an evening chapel service. We will open Saturday morning 10 am the Aloia Funeral Home with an 11 interment at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
