Obituary for Thomas "Timmy" Gaspardino
GASPARDINO, Thomas “Timmy," of Wayne, NJ passed away at the age of age 74 on June 19, 2017. He was born in Paterson on February 9, 1943. He was raised in the Paterson and Fair Lawn areas. Timmy graduated from St. Joseph's High School and joined the Air Force shortly after. He later moved to Paterson and settled in Wayne for the past 22 years. He was a member of the Maywood American Legion Post 142 and an Air Force Veteran. He worked in the restaurant and bar business for many years spending the last 19 years working as a bartender for Spruce Street Grill and Varka Restaurant, both of Ramsey.
Timmy is survived by his sister Arlene Zirkel, brother Robert Gaspardino, two nieces, three nephews, two great nieces and two great nephews and several cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Marion Gaspardino. A life celebration will be held at a future date. The Gaspardino family is in the care of the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077). Condolences visit aloiafuneral.com
