LETO, Rosa (nee Tallo), age 95, of Garfield, died August 25, 2017. She was born in Alessandria della Rocca, Sicily-Italy residing there for 46 years before moving to Garfield 49 years ago. She was a seamstress for the ILGWU - Passaic Local, she was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Virgin Church, and a member of the Sacred Heart and St. Pio Societies of Garfield. She is predeceased by her husband, Benedetto in 1996, three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by one daughter, Maria Salerno, two sons, Vincenzo and Ciro Leto, six grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Visiting Monday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Tuesday, August 28, 2017, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8 am followed by an 9 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Entombment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. In lieu of flowers the family will accept memorial gifts fo the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
