PUCCIARELLI, Mary Ann, age 72, of Elmwood Park, died on November 14, 2017. Born in Passaic, she lived in Garfield for 32 years settling in Elmwood Park 40 years ago. She received her Master Degree plus 30 in Education, and she was a teacher 36 years with the Garfield Board of Education at Columbus School #8 retiring in 2003. Mary Ann belonged to both the NJEA and the Garfield Federation of Teachers, she was a member of the Elmwood Park AARP, was a lifelong parishioner of Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield, and also a parishioner of St. Anne Church, Fair Lawn. She is predeceased by her beloved nephew, Nicholas Attanasio in 2009, her parents, Nicholas and Mary Pucciarelli, and her fur nephew, Hunter. Mary Ann is survived by her sister and best friend who loved her dearly, Sylvia Attanasio and husband Henry, and many adored cousins. Visiting Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral is Saturday, November 18, 2017, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9 am followed by a 10 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi.
