MASTROPOLE, Katherine (nee Graziano), age 93, of Garfield, died on December 16, 2017. Born and raised in Passaic for 18 years, she settled in Garfield 76 years ago. She was a homemaker, a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church, Garfield, and a member of the Rosary Society. She is predeceased by her husband, Carlo in 2008, 2 sisters and 1 brother. She is survived by her loving son, Salvatore J. and wife Barbara, her cherished grandchildren, Kevin and wife Sarah, and Sara and husband Adam, her adored great-grandchildren, Camden, Nolan, Hudson, and Asher, and her dear sisters, Ida Foica, Vera Johannemann, Anne Fletcher, Josephine Graziano, and Margaret Kopack. Visiting Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral is Tuesday, December 19, 2017, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9 am followed by a 10 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Entombment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
