LOMBARDI, Catherine (nee Latona), age 80, of Lodi, died on February 13, 2018. Born in Bagheria, Sicily-Italy, she lived there 6 years before emigrating to the United States. She resided in Garfield for 19 years settling in Lodi 54 years ago. She was a bank teller 20 years with National Community Bank in Garfield retiring in 1995, and a parishioner of St. Joseph's RC Church in Lodi where she was a member of the Catholic Daughters Association. Catherine is survived by her husband of 54 years, Matteo, four sons, Joseph and wife Kelly, Peter and wife Ileana, Matteo and wife Laura, and Robert and wife Denise, 9 grandchildren, Joseph, Kevin, Ryan, Rebecca, Matteo, Micayla, Angelina, Gabriella, and Mia, two brothers, Jack and Joe Latona, two sisters, Serena Paladino and husband Frank, and Joanne Gagliardo, two sisters-in-law, Joanne Latona and Elena Lombardi, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings, John and Michael Latona, and Mary Santacroce.
Visiting Monday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Tuesday, February 20, 2018, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9:30 am followed by a 10:30 am mass at St. Joseph's RC Church, Lodi.
