Edward D.  Frenzel
FRENZEL, Edward D., age 81, of Rochelle Park, died on April 16, 2018. Born in Passaic, he lived in Garfield for 54 years settling in Rochelle Park 27 years ago. He was a senior inspector for the Bergen County Mosquito Commission in Paramus for 37 years retiring in 1992, and he was a horologist for 33 years owning A & E Clock Shop, Garfield from 1985 to 2018. Ed was a parishioner, a member of the Usher Society, a Eucharistic Minister and feast volunteer of Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield, was the director of the Garfield Cadets from 1972 to 1976, and a member of the Pines Rod and Gun Club, Elmwood Park. He is predeceased by his parents, Barbara and Edward E. Frenzel. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Annette J. (nee Massa), three beloved children, Edward J. Frenzel and husband Timothy E. Boyle, Renee Ann Toroian and husband Gregory H., and Dawn Marie Feldner and husband Douglas G., and five cherished grandchildren, Dr. Kevin E. Steinberger and wife Brittaney, Kyle J. Steinberger, Tyler D. Feldner, Kiera C. Feldner, and Sydney A. Feldner. Visiting Thursday and Friday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Saturday, April 21, 2018, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8 am followed by a 9 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
