RIZZO, Josephine Joyce (nee Coniglio), age 74, of Elmwood Park, died on June 11, 2018 surrounded by her devoted family. She was born in Jersey City residing in Garfield for 31 years before moving to Elmwood Park 43 years ago. She was employed as a Patient Care Assistant at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, and a member of the Vision Loss Alliance of New Jersey. Mrs. Rizzo is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Carmelo Rizzo, three beloved children, Patricia Ann Buck ( husband Douglas), Pamela Ann Rizzo, and Lisa Ann Rizzo ( life partner Lisa Criado), and five grandchildren, Jonathan, Stephanie, Abigail, Hannah, and Nicholas. Visiting will be Friday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Saturday, June 16, 2018, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8:00 am followed by a 9:30 am mass at St. Anne’s RC Church, Fair Lawn. Entombment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. The Rizzo family is in the care of the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077).
