Obituary for Florence Annibal (Furdin)

ANNIBAL, Florence (nee Furdin), age 95, born November 18, 1922 to John and Anna Furdin of Avoca, PA., died on June 24, 2018. She was born and resided in Avoca, PA for 21 years before moving to Garfield for the past 74 years. She owned and operated Bogart Oil, Garfield, for 36 years with her husband Garry, and was the proprietor of the Treasure Nook Card and Gift store in the Allwood section of Clifton. She was a parishioner of Most Holy Name RC Church Garfield, and a member of the Holy Name Seniors. She is predeceased by her husband Garry and 8 siblings. She is survived by one son, Garry Annibal and wife Dorothy, two daughters, Elaine Wich and husband Jerry, and Carol Heusner and husband George, eight grandchildren, Carrie Heusner, Sarah Wich, Laurie Heusner-Myers, Lisa Fiduccia, Catherine Maurer, Michele Hoffman, Jerry Wich, Jr., and Thomas Annibal, and seven great-grandchildren, Owen Maurer, Harry Maurer, Nico Fiduccia, Annabelle Heusner, Colin Miller, Theodore Hoffman and Violetta Wich. Visiting Tuesday 4 to 8 PM. The funeral is Wednesday, June 27, 2018, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8 AM followed by a 9 AM mass at Most Holy Name RC Church, Garfield. Entombment Calvary Cemetery Paterson. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of your choice.
