Obituary for Stephen D. Denaro

DENARO, Stephen D., age 70, of Elmwood Park, died on September 3, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Born in the Bronx, he was raised in Paramus living in Lodi for two years and Ringwood for eight years settling in Elmwood Park 23 years ago. Steve worked 25 years for the Borough of Paramus Sewer Department retiring in 2007, he was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s RC Church, Lodi, and a member of the Elmwood Park Elks, Lodge 60. He is survived by his devoted wife of 32 years, Anita (nee Milioto), a son, Stephen James Denaro and wife Monte, a granddaughter, Parker Denaro, and his siblings, Mark Denaro and wife Kathy, and Lois Denaro. He was an adored Godfather and uncle of Arielle Gallina, he was a cherished uncle of Brianna Gallina, Yanna Milioto, Amanda Denaro, Tiffany Denaro, Tara Chinni, Dawn Carvalho, and Robert Chinni, Great-Uncle to Derek, and a dear brother-in-law of Leonard Milioto and wife Andrea, Joseph Milioto, and Kathleen Gallina. Visiting Thursday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Friday, September 7, 2018, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9 am followed by a 10 am mass at St. Joseph’s RC Church, Lodi. Entombment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
