Josephine Noto (Oddo)
NOTO, Josephine (nee Oddo), age 86, a life-long resident of Garfield, died on November 4, 2011. She was a seamstress for 25 years working for Hennell Fashions, Garfield, she was a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church, Garfield, and a member of the Mt. Virgin School T.A.M.S. She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph in 2005, her son-in-law, Edward N. Morano in 2004, two sisters, Frances DeCillis and Rose Pracilio, and two brothers, Andrew and Rosario Oddo. She is survived by two daughters, Lee Morano, and Dolores Messina and her husband Fred, three grandsons, E.J.Morano and his wife Rosemarie, Eric Messina, and Ryan Messina, and she was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. The funeral is Wednesday, November 9, 2011, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting Monday 7-9 pm, and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
