Obituary for Caroline Zolea (Sabatino)
ZOLEA, Caroline (nee Sabatino), age 95, of Saddle Brook, died on November 27, 2011. Born in Garfield, she lived there for 45 years and Saddle Brook the past 50 years. She was a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church, and a member of the I.L.G.W.U. - Passaic Local. Retiring in 1978, she was a wedding dress maker and a seamstress for over 40 years. She is predeceased by her husband Frank. She is survived a son, Kenneth Zolea and his wife Marilyn, a daughter, Karen Amato, three grandchildren, Christopher Amato and his wife Elizabeth, Michelle Zolea, and Kevin Zolea, and two great-grandchildren, Katherine and Haley Amato. The funeral is Wednesday, November 30, 2011, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9 am followed by a 10 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. The Zolea family is in the care of the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077). Condolences/Directions visit aloiafuneral.com
