Frank P.  Inserra
INSERRA, Frank P. age 83 of Garfield died peacefully on May 25, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in New York City residing there for 44 years, Lodi for 16 years and the last 24 years in Garfield. He worked for SEIU Local 32BJ as a doorman at 930 Fifth Avenue and DelBove’s Market on Lexington Ave retiring in 1992. After retirement he worked as a Crossing Guard for the City of Garfield. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Mary (nee Treanor), three daughters: Marie DelFavero and husband Richard, Ellen Tummillo and husband Daniel and Laura Mezza and husband Harry. Loving grandfather of 8 grandchildren: Caitlin, Alyssa, Richard Jr., Francis, Alexandra, Matthew, Gianna, and Mia. He is also survived by two sisters: Josephine Masopust and Carmen Inserra and Brother John. He is predeceased by his parents Gaetano and Stella, 5 sisters: Lucy, Bessy, Mary Raia, Lena Balvin and Grace Didio and 2 brothers Ralph and Thomas. He was a loyal NY Giants and NY Rangers fan and as a charter member of the NY Rangers Fan club routinely traveled with the team by bus to Montreal, Boston, and Detroit many years ago. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2012 arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by an 11 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook . Visiting Tuesday 3 to 8 pm at the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077). Condolences/Directions visit aloiafuneral.com
