ZEMALKOWSKI, Carl L., age 82, of Garfield, died on January 14, 2014. Born and raised in Scranton, PA, he settled in Garfield 62 years ago. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a truck driver for Boss Linco Lines, Moonachie for 25 years retiring in 1980, and he was a member of the Teamsters Local 560 and 641. He is predeceased by his wife Josephine in 2005. He is survived by a son, Carl Zemalkowski, a daughter, Nancy Perez, a brother, Thomas Zemalkowski and his wife Gail, three grandchildren, Jennifer, David, and Jonathan, and a great-granddaughter Peyton. Visiting Wednesday 7 to 9 pm. The funeral is Thursday, January 16, 2014, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9 am followed by a 10 am chapel service. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. The Zemalkowski family is in the care of the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077). Condolences/Directions aloiafuneral.com
