NUNNARI, Josephine (nee Schalabba), age 93, a lifelong resident of Garfield, died on May 5, 2014. She was a seamstress for over 30 years retiring in 1985 from Iacovino Dress Shop, Garfield, and a member of the I.L.G.W.U. - Passaic Local. She is predeceased by her husband Nicholas in 1985, and siblings, Angelina and Jean Mistretta, MaryDeRosa, Anthony, James, Frank, and Richard Schalabba. Loving mother of Donald and wife Maureen, dear grandmother of Nicholas and Michael, great-grandmother of Gianna and Jack, and beloved sister of Concetta “Ada’ Crisafi, Rose Weedo, and Anna Raineri. Visiting Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. The funeral is Friday, May 9, 2014 at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Interment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association. The Nunnari family is in the care of the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077). Condolences/Directions visit aloiafuneral.com
