Obituary for Santo Zuccaro

ZUCCARO, Santo, age 85, of Lodi, died on May 17, 2014. Born in Bolognetta, Sicily-Italy, he lived there for43 years and Garfield for 7 years settling in Lodi 35 years ago. He was a machine operator 20 years with Kohl and Madden Printing, Inc., Lodi retiring in 1993, a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church, Lodi, and his hobbies were playing bocce ball and Italian Cards with his family. He is predeceased by his wife Paola in 2001, and his daughter, Gaetana Zuccaro in 1989. He is survived by three daughters, Rosa Cutrona and husband Salvatore, Maria Carmelina Cancellieri and husband Sebastiano, and Josephine Cutrona and husband Gino, three brothers, Pietro, Antonino, and Giuseppe, and four sisters, Maria Antonina DiPeri, Giovanna and Cira Zuccaro, and Giuseppa Leone. Dear grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visiting Monday 5to 9 pm. The funeral is Tuesday, May 20, 2014, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9 am followed by a 10 am mass at St. Joseph’s Church, Lodi. Entombment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations for their Autism Charity. The Zuccaro family is in the care of the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077).
