Obituary for Carl Nicolosi

NICOLOSI, Carl, age 83, of Lodi, died on June 4, 2014. He was born and raised in Garfield for 25 years before settling in Lodi 58 years ago. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales RC Church, Lodi, and was taught the trade of carpentry by his father from the age of six. He was employed as a carpenter 29 years with Joseph Muscarelle, Inc., Maywood, retiring in 1993, and a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Union - Local 263 (formerly Local 15 of Hackensack). He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Catherine (nee Termont), a son, Peter Joseph Nicolosi, two daughters, Carleen Nicolosi-Koller and Lisa Nicolosi-Loebel, a sister, Marie Barber, and five grandchildren, Daniel, Stephen, Michael, Lauren, and Erica. Visiting Thursday 5 to 9 pm with a 6 pm chapel service. Private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Passaic Valley Hospice, 783 Riverview Drive, Totowa, NJ 07511.
