Alan R. "Mannie"  Navarrete
NAVARRETE, Alan R., age 19, of Garfield, died on July 10, 2014. Born in Passaic, he was a lifelong resident graduating Garfield High School in 2013 where he played on the tennis team. He was currently a student at Montclair State University studying biology with aspirations of becoming an oncologist. He is survived by his parents, Alejandro and Gabriela Navarrete, his grandparents, Eduardo Navarrete and Concepcion Rios, and Jesus Tepale, two brothers, Alejandro and Axel Navarrete, and a sister, Alexa Navarrete. Visiting Monday 5 to 8 pm with a 7:30 pm chapel service. Private cremation. The Navarrete family is in the care of the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077).
