JUCHNIEWICZ, Maria (nee Saikowski), age 76, of Garfield, died on September 7, 2014. Born in Russia, she lived in Passaic settling into Garfield 50 years ago. She was a homemaker, a parishioner of Three Saints RO Church, Garfield, and a member of the Garfield VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She is predeceased by her husband Alexander in 2005, and a sister Julie Rusak. She is survived by two daughters, Laura (nee Juchniewicz) Cantarella and husband Anthony, and Valerie Juchniewicz, a sister, Sophie Pearson, a brother, Alexander Saikowski, and two grandchildren Ryan Geraghty and Angelita Cantarella. Loving Godmother of Debbie Hull and her children, and aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visiting Wednesday 5 to 9 pm at the Aloia Funeral Home with an 8:30 pm chapel service. Private Cremation. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations for Garfield Fire Company 5.
