Condolence From: Marie
Condolence: It's been so long already and still I don't really have the words but I'll try.

Thank-you Cross for being my friend, thank-you for being you. You brought love, light and hope to your fellow patients around the globe. And yes your poetry really did make a difference because we identified with your descriptions of living with CRPS (RSD). It is so hard to understand what it is like to experience that kind of relentless pain and yet to somehow still find ways to look less pained, and yet everyone who read your poems got an insight, and every patient knew instantly that there was someone out there who understood. I hope they continue to make a difference as you had hoped they would, because they are a window into a type of pain that language doesn't give us the words to express unless we get creative with them.

The world is sadder for your not being in it but I know you'll be shining bright where you are now. You'll never be forgotten hon, you are etched in too many hearts.

Love and light, xx

Condolence: Dearest Cross, You shared you life with us in an amazing open and trusting manner. You taught me to trust in the support groups for RSD/CRPS. You showed me it is possible to be an RSD/CRPS warriors then and now. I cannot believe you are gone but gone you are. I know to a much happy and pain free place. In my head I see you throwing a ball for Leo to catch and that is what is making me smile. I will keep that picture in my head along with all the poetry you so generously shared with each and every one of us. I thank you for being a friend to me. I thank you for being part of my life. Now go my friend Leo is waiting for his ball to be thrown. R.I.P Both of you. xx

Condolence: Cross has left a wonderful legacy for so many people all over the world. He was a brilliant, intuitive man who will long be remembered for his strength and his kindness. Our tributes to Cross are just beginning. His spirit will be carried forward in our work to bring awareness of CRPS and provide more adequate support to patients and their families. I wish that we could have done more for this exceptional young man. Condolences to everyone who loved him.

Condolence: Part of me is just mad at you right now. But the other part knows the pain you suffered daily from RSD and the people who should have been supporting you! I hope all of those that hurt you feel guilt for the rest of their lives. They know who they are so I need not call them out on here. I'm gonna miss you babe. You we're a great friend and ALWAYS there for me when I needed you. I tried to do the same for you and feel as tho I failed at that for you. I know you were dealing with so much on top of RSD. It was one messed up thing after another for you. You had a terribly painful nerve disease and people who were supposed to be supporting you making life so much harder. I'll never understand why those people did the things they have done. I am happy that you no longer have to deal with the physical or emotional pain you had here on earth. Love you Cross. You will be missed immensly! I'm sorry you felt this was your only option.

Condolence: Cross, I hope you are at peace from this horrible pain you suffered from. I am sorry your immediate support system failed you in so many ways. I am sorry you are gone. You were way too young. I pray you are at peace.

Your fellow CRPS Warrior, Pam
