FRAGALE-NUCIFORA, Sadie (nee Realmonte), age 90, of Garfield, died August 24, 2017. She was born in Marineo, Sicily, residing there for 22 years before moving to Garfield 68 years ago. She owned and operated Fragale Bakery in Garfield for many years, was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Virgin Church, member of the St. Ciro Society in Garfield, and a volunteer at Beth Israel Hospital in Passaic. She is predeceased by her first husband, Giovanni Fragale in 1984, her second husband, Fred Nucifora in 2004, a sister, Maria Rose Frasca, and a brother, Charles Realmonte. She is survived one daughter, Connie Oblen, three sons Andrew, Michael and John, one brother, Peter Realmonte, three sisters, Mildred Adamo, Frances DeBlasio and Sarah Roberts, 10 grandchildren, and 10 great- grandchildren. Visiting Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The funeral is Tuesday, August 29, 2017, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by an 11 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Entombment St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. In lieu of flowers the Fragale family is accepting donations for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
