Obituary for Vincent Puccio

Vincent  Puccio
PUCCIO, Vincent, age 82, of Franklin Lakes, passed on December 13, 2017. Born in Marineo, Sicily-Italy, he lived there for 23 years emigrating to the United States in 1958 as a Master Tailor. He then resided in Saddle Brook 43 years, making custom tailored suits for private clientele as well as working for Sears, Roebuck and Company for 18 years before moving to Franklin Lakes 16 years ago. He owned and operated, with his brothers and brother-in-law, both Garden Liquors, Inc. and Metropolitan Cleaners, Inc. on Harrison Avenue in Lodi from 1970-2001. Vincent then was a real estate developer, with his children, from 2001-2017 owning AVF Quality Homes in Wyckoff and Puccio Realty in Franklin Lakes. Vincent was a parishioner of both Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield and Church of the Most Blessed Sacrament, Franklin Lakes, a member of St. Ciro Society, Garfield, and a member of the Italian American Forum of Lodi. He is predeceased by his parents, Angela and Onofrio Puccio, his siblings, Filippo Puccio and his wife Concetta, Rosalia Puccio, and his brother-in-law, Giacomo Calderone. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Antoinette Maria (nee Staropoli), his beloved children, Angela Vitamia and husband Joseph, and Dr. Fred Puccio and wife Karen, adored grandchildren, Madelyn and husband Giulian, Gabriella, Marissa, and Vincent, and dear siblings, Jerry Puccio and wife Maria, and Rosa Calderone. Visiting Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 pm. The funeral is Monday, December 18, 2017, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9 am followed by a 10 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield.
