GOSSELIN, Evangelina (nee Ocharan), age 92, of Garfield, died on April 29, 2018. Born and raised in Mollendo, Peru, she lived there for 57 years emigrating to the United States in 1982 settling in Garfield 35 years ago. She was a seamstress 10 years with Garfield Sportswear in Garfield before retiring. She is predeceased by her husband, Julio in 1976, and her brother, Abraham Ocharan in 1998. Evangelina is survived by five loving children, Yolanda E. Daniele and husband Giuseppe, Fernando Gosselin, Jose Luis Gosselin and wife Liliana, Miriam Sanchez and husband Jaime, and Francisca La Madrid and husband Jorge, 17 cherished grandchildren, and 14 adored great-grandchildren. Visiting Wednesday 5 to 9 pm. The funeral is Thursday, May 3, 2018, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9:30 am followed by a 10:30 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield.
