Obituary for RoseAnn Procopio (Vaspol)

PROCOPIO, RoseAnn, age 75, of Jefferson Township, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus, peacefully, surrounded by her family on June 6, 2018. Born in Passaic on March 27, 1943, she was a graduate of Garfield HS. She worked many years in the finance department at Picatinny Arsenal, Wharton before retiring. She was a strongly devoted Christian volunteering as an Eucharistic Minister, and she always helped anyone in need. She was a mother to all, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her, with family always coming first and foremost in her life. In addition, she was an avid writer of fiction and non fiction stories. She is predeceased by her husband, Frank Joseph Procopio, her parents, Salvatore and Angelina Vaspol, and her sister Diane Coppola. She is survived by her loving children, Denise Procopio and husband Kevin Port, Andrea Callow and husband Robert Callow, and Joseph Frank Procopio and wife Lori, beloved grandmother of Tyler Julius DeVeau, Robert Ian Callow, Jr., Desiree Alessandra DeVeau, Sara Rose Callow, Damon Joseph DeVeau, Dominic Joseph Procopio, and Christopher Michael Port, and dear sister of Elaine Grabinski (Alfred), Angela Salmon (Patrick), Salvatore Vaspol, her brother-in-law, Ralph Coppola, and many nephews and nieces. Memorial Visiting Tuesday 4 to 8 pm at the Aloia Funeral Home with a 7:30 pm memorial service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
