Obituary for Roland Parker McGrath

McGRATH, Roland Parker, age 69, of Garfield, died on June 28, 2018. Born in Weehawken, he lived in North Bergen and Jersey City for 37 years settling in Garfield 32 years ago. Employed 37 years as a machine operator with Marcal Paper Mills in Elmwood Park, he retired in 2014. Roland was a parishioner of St. Stanislaus Kostka RC Church, Garfield, and a member of the Garfield Senior Citizens and the American Kite Flying Association. Roland is predeceased by his parents and five siblings. He is survived by two loving children, Roberto McGrath and wife Carolina, and Sarah McGrath, his former wife, Ana McGrath, and three siblings, George, Robert, and Viola “Babe” McGrath. Visiting Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Aloia Funeral Home with an 8:40 pm chapel service. Private cremation.
