Richard Oscar Forzani, born April 25, 1945 in the Bronx, NY, died September 12, 2018 in Saddle River, NJ. Son of Oscar Forzani and Edna Forzani (nee: Giachino). He is predeceased by his son, Troy. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen; his children, Daniel "Casey", Katelyn, and Richard; six younger siblings, Diana, Carol, Mary, Lillian, Edward, and Michele; two grandchildren, Charlie and Casey; thirteen nieces and nephews; and countless others whose lives he positively influenced with his generosity, larger than life personality, and ability to charm a room with his sense of humor.

A graduate of, student athlete with, and active alumnus of Columbia University in the City of New York. He served honorably in the United States Navy Reserve and made his career in IT sales. He enjoyed traveling, fine dining, military history, Columbia football, penning letters to the editor, and spending time with his friends and family.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Aloia Funeral Home in Garfield, NJ on September 20, 2018 from 5-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to the Villa Marie Claire Hospice in Saddle River, NJ.
