Paula E. O'Rourke, of Maywood, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018. She was born in Hackensack to the late Joseph and Ann Pra and was raised in Hasbrouck Heights.

Paula graduated from Bergen Community College and was previously employed by Univision. She then pursued her true passion of service to others at ARC and Christian Healthcare in Wyckoff, where she retired after 17 years of service.

Paula enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and spending time with her family. Having been self taught, she loved playing her baby grand piano for others.

She will be sadly missed, and lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Teresa Gallotto of Saddle Brook, NJ and Kristine O'Rourke of Emerson, NJ, five grandchildren, Danielle and Jackie Gallotto, Zach, Katelyne and Josef Hamm, four great-grandchildren, Andrew, Robert, Aaron and Christopher, and her two sisters, Christine Sammartino (Gene) of Andover, CT and Barbara Field of Robbinsville, NJ. She is also survived by her former husband, William O'Rourke of Nevada.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 am on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Corpus Christi RC Church, 260 Boulevard, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. A reception in her honor will be immediately following the service at the Stony Hill Inn at 231 Polifly Rd., Hackensack, NJ.
