JENNINGS, Robert, age 37, of Hackettstown, died on December 10, 2018. Born in Dover, he lived in Long Valley before moving to Hackettstown. He worked as a personal trainer for many years and recently for the Salvation Army. Rob was active playing softball, bowling and teaching his nephew, Kyle how to swing a bat. Robert loved the time in spent in Africa which inspired him in the way he looked at life and helped others He is survived by his loving mother, Barbara Jennings, adoptive father, Bernard Jennings, a brother, Andrew and family, his father, Gregg Gonder and step-mother Laurie Gonder, and aunts, uncles and cousins. Private cremation with a memorial service for friends and family to be held 12 pm on January 12, 2019 at the American Legion Post 164 in Hackettstown. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Salvation Army.
