Condolence: Way back in 1988 when Donna and I first met.
I was introduced to the VandeGroef family at a massive Christmas get together in Clifton NJ
I was informed as to how I was gonna be greeted by members of the family in what was said as to be a kinda small home ( or just a large family)
Me coming from a small family, I was kinda freaked!
But the welcome I received into the family was so awesome!
Andy, Lenny, Alan, thanks so much making it so easy!
Hopefully the reflection of my family is what you guys did for me!
Condolence: Sending my love, hugs and prayers to Dawn, Denise and the entire VanderGroef family. Lenny was a very special guy. Knowing him, as well as his beautiful wife, Ceil, for over 40 years was a blessing. I first met Lenny on New Years Eve when I was 19, the year being 1970, when Ceil invited me to their New Years Eve party. This began our long term friendship.. Lenny was like my big brother, always kidding me about the New York Jets (jmy favorite team). He will be greatly missed and yet I know that he is at peace with the Lord and reunited with his beloved wife.
Condolence: I am so sorry Dawn and Denise for your loss , Lenny and Ceil were dear friends of ours . I always remember your Dad’s kindness to my late husband Steve when he was not doing well,he would pop by and spend some time with him chatting in the backyard ,he also took him to the track wheelchair and all , that really pleased Steve big time ,he was one terrific guy and everyone who knew him will miss him .
